BD Vacutainer™ ACD Solution A Tubes are available in glass only and are identifiable by a Conventional yellow cap. They contain the active anticoagulant Tri-sodium Citrate with Citric Acid and Dextrose. Samples collected in these tubes are used to obtain whole blood or plasma sample. The concentration of additives in each solution is as follows: ACD Solution A (conventional closure) Sodium citrate: 22.0g/L Dextrose: 24.5g/L Citric acid: 8.0g/L Antimycotic (K sorbate) reagent: 0.15g/L
