A barometer is a scientific instrument used in meteorology to measure atmospheric pressure. This barometer is 10cm in diameter, and is suitable for demonstrations purposes. The aneroid barometer uses a small, flexible metal box called an aneroid cell (capsule), which is made from an alloy of beryllium and copper.
